It seems every celebrity is doing it and parading it all over the red carpet at every opportunity. Tattoos are high fashion at the moment and we can’t wait to see what new tats are being sported by the rich and famous on the read carpet this year. It’s not just about the fashion but the body art as well.

One of the most popular celebrities is, of course, Angelina Jolie. Her most popular tattoo has to be the names of her adopted children on her left shoulder. These tattoos look so elegant on Angelina that they are becoming popular with not only other celebrities but also other parents that want to commemorate their children.
Some celebrities have the names of their children and loved ones at the back of the neck and when these tattoos are done properly they can look very elegant and are a real fashion statement. Of course these tattoos also have deep meaning to the celebrity in question.

Rihanna has no limits to her body when it comes to tattoos but one of the best for her red carpet walk has to be the one on the back of her neck. She has the words “Rebelle Fleur” which translated means “Rebel Flower”. She also has the index finger tattoo “Shhh”, a design which is said to be shared with Lilly Allen and Lindsay Lohan.

When talking about red carpet tattoos, there is nothing sexier than the ankle tattoo, and with a pair of stylish high heels the sex appeal is instant. Ankle tattoos are normally small but striking. Women usually like a butterfly or fairy design, but the men prefer something a little more tribal. Although ankle designs can be painful as the foot area does not have a lot of fatty flesh, the design can look very sexy and also very striking.

Gemma Arterton showed off her Angel Wing tattoo for the first time at the Clash of the Titans premier in London. She looked stylish and very sexy in a short black dress with killer heals. Her hair was scraped back to reveal the design behind her ear. Gemma looked classy and very sexy with her small and demure tattoo. The girl obviously knows how to do it on the red carpet!
